Sunstruck: Horizon A City-Builder Under a Killing Sun
Sunstruck: Horizon is a survival city-builder for PC that I'm making in Unity. You keep a scrap town alive around the Rig, an old diesel giant that pumps the water and lights the streets, in the ruins of a world struck down by the sun. It's in development, with no release date yet.

The sun won. Keep the town alive anyway. A civilization tried to master the sun and the sky broke. In its ruins, one scrap town lives or dies by an old diesel giant. In development for PC, headed for Steam, with no release date yet.
How it plays
- The Rig pumps the water, lights the streets and powers the town. Keep it fueled, crewed and repaired, because when it goes dark the town has hours, not days
- Work by night, shelter by day. Noon reaches 60 °C, so the shift runs from dusk to dawn and every day is planned around the heat
- Everyone has a name. Citizens earn epithets and bring petitions, and the dead go in the Memorial book
- The weather is the enemy. Sandstorms, heatwaves and solar flares are the threat; there is no combat
- Send the trucks out. Named drivers haul scrap from the ruins, scouts chart the frontier on motorbikes and caravans trade with the town
- Keep their faith. Pass laws, decide who works where, and hold the town together; if it loses faith in you, people walk out into the desert and the run ends
The website
- sunstruck.tolga.app is the game's front door: a video loop over the key art, a scroll tour through five scenes, and a time-of-day switcher with captures from the current build
- Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript on Firebase Hosting
Built with
- Unity 6 with the High Definition Render Pipeline
- C# for the game's systems
